Tiong Bahru

The variety of the F&B industry is a mixture of nostalgic and a tinge of modern eccentric from traditional Hainanese chicken rice to bakeries to international cuisines. The serene Tiong Bahru is definitely one of the area to be considered for residing.

Toa Payoh

Here comes Toa Payoh, once a ‘big swamp’ land then the second oldest satellite town and the first to be build by the Housing Development Board (HDB). With just three MRT stations away from the shopping belt, Orchard, this area is rich with heritage and history. Fun fact, Queen Elizabeth has visited Toa Payoh in year 1972 and 2006! Besides the Toa Payoh Central, which has the bus interchange and shopping malls, there is industrial area as well, namely Toa Payoh Industrial Park That explains why Toa Payoh has numerous HDBs, so residents are more closer to home after ending their work day. Oh, don’t forget the famous kway chap in Lorong 8 Toa Payoh. After a good kway chap, have a brisk walk in Toa Payoh Town Park, built in the year 1973. Bedok

The matured estate in the east, Bedok, that was once have a mixture of Malay and Chinese village, even before Sir Stamford Raffles step into Singapore. The first HDB flat was developed in the year of 1975, slowly Bedok is transformed to what it is today. Currently, Bedok is housing 200,00 residents with 58,000 units of HDB flats. Why is Bedok a livable area? Well, we have few picturesque nature view in Bedok area, like the East Coast Park and Bedok Reservoir is where the Bedok-ians hangs out during their leisuretime. Don’t forget, there’s a number of seafood restaurant and travelling to Changi Village for the food is shorter. So, we don’t see why NOT to stay in Bedok. 

Punggol

Over the recent years, Punggol has been through many transformations and revitalization and it appeals for Singaporeans to apply for BTOs, besides the cheaper price . Punggol is also known for Jewel of the East, Punggol is becoming an eco-green estate and Waterfront Town of the 21^st century with plentiful of great developments, click here for the plans. There are few notable spots for sports and nature like Punggol Waterway, Punggol Beach and Coney Island. Choa Chu Kang

This non matured estate that still has the kampong values as Choa Chu Kang a.k.a. CCK where it used to have few kampongs around. CCK is developed in the year of 1985 onwards and completed in year 2015. The neighbourhood has connected transportation facilities within one area, Choa Chu Kang MRT Station, Choa Chu Kang LRT Station and Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchange. The transportation facilities is made seamless for the residents to get around Singapore. Shopping malls are easily accessible in every corner of Choa Chu Kang, making it convenient for the residents. 

There’s community library in Lot One shopping mall, the major shopping hub in CCK. Apart from primary and secondary schools, CCK is also the home for two tertiary institutions, mainly Pioneer Junior College and ITE College West. More demands for HDB flats in Choa Chu Kang as there’s more students residing in the area. Heading to Jurong for shopping is easier when residing in Choa Chu Kang.
